Celebrating Reporting House’s recognition by the Network of European Museum Organisations

Reporting House, the museum dedicated to preserving and presenting the stories of the Kosovo war, has been accepted as a member of the Network of European Museum Organisations (NEMO), marking an important milestone in its journey and international recognition of its work.

In 2024, Mane Foundation and Neptun Kosova supported the establishment of the museum by providing essential audio-visual equipment that helped bring its curatorial vision to life. Presented by BIRN Kosovo and Prishtina Biennale, the exhibition combines journalism, photography, media artefacts, and contemporary art to explore the long-term effects of war. Since opening its doors in June 2024, Reporting House has welcomed more than 20,000 visitors.

Reflecting on this partnership, Jeta Xharra, co-founder of Reporting House, said: “The cooperation with Mane Foundation was crucial at a time when we had tens of hours of footage and no equipment to tell the story. Without the technological support the Foundation provided, it would have been difficult for us to implement the curatorial concept of journalism and contemporary art as conceived by Gaz Ejupi, our curator that came up with the idea of connecting the museum with Mane Foundation.”

Mane Foundation is proud to have contributed to an initiative that safeguards collective memory, promotes dialogue, and ensures that important stories continue to reach future generations.
