Jumbo contributes to early detection of vision issues in children
In a significant move to support children’s health, Jumbo, in partnership with the Mane Foundation has donated a Refractokeratometer, an advanced eye examination device, to the Children’s Hospital in Podgorica.
This valuable contribution will enable the hospital’s ophthalmology department to conduct more precise and comfortable vision screenings for young patients. The refractometer uses advanced technology to accurately measure the eye’s focusing ability and determine the appropriate corrective lenses needed for clear vision
Tatjana Kovacevic, representative of Jumbo, stated:
“At Jumbo, we believe that every child deserves the chance to see, learn, and grow in good health. By supporting the Children’s Hospital in Podgorica, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need care and support the most. This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to stand by families, communities, and especially our youngest ones.”
The hospital’s medical team expressed deep appreciation for the donation, emphasizing that the new equipment will enhance diagnostic accuracy and make eye examinations easier and less stressful for both children and their parents.
This initiative is part of Jumbo’s social responsibility mission to improve children’s health, education, and well-being. Jumbo remains steadfast in its commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families, believing that even the smallest acts of care contribute to a stronger and more vibrant community.
