Mane Foundation and GEN-E Albania 2026 for young entrepreneurs
GEN-E Albania 2026, organized by Junior Achievement of Albania, was held on the 7th and 8th of May at the Pyramid of Tirana, bringing together some of the country’s most inspiring high school student companies. The event showcased innovative ideas shaped by sustainability, creativity, and community impact.
As long-standing supporters of the initiative, Mane Foundation and Tirana Bank contributed to this year’s edition through active participation in the jury and by presenting three special awards that recognize entrepreneurial excellence and social impact.
The festival plays an important role in students’ educational and personal development journey, encouraging young people to strengthen their creativity, teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences beyond the classroom.
Among the awarded student companies were BioCel, winner of the Student Company of the Year award for its biodegradable bioplastic packaging made from wheat straw as a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic; Mini Bubbles, awarded for Best Marketing & Sales Plan for its innovative single-use soap sheets for accessible hygiene; and EcoPoint, recipient of the “Dritan Mezini” Community Impact Award for its solutions in recycling and sustainable waste management. BioCel will represent Albania at GEN-E Europe 2026.
Mane Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower young people through education, entrepreneurship, and innovation, as key drivers of long-term impact for society.
