Students of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University in Durrës welcomed the President of the BALFIN Group, Samir Mane, for an open discussion to share his success story and ideas about the future of the economy, tourism, and entrepreneurship in Albania.
Invited by the students and teachers at this university, the President of the BALFIN Group addressed the importance of young people’s engagement in entrepreneurship, especially in tourism, as well as cooperation between universities and businesses.
“I invite students to look at international business models related to tourism. It is the future and there are many opportunities to do business, especially for young people who are more adaptable to new ideas. Universities should adapt their curricula and increase the number of subjects related to tourism. I always support young people who want to be entrepreneurs. Young people should be more courageous so that together we can create the conditions for the future that we all want here in our country,” Samir Mane told the students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Business at this University, Shkëlqim Fortuzi, praised the investments of the BALFIN Group as a contribution not only to economic growth, but especially to employment of young people in Albania. Expressing gratitude for this open discussion, Dean Fortuzi expressed to the President of the BALFIN Group the request for more investments in Durrës, which would serve to highlight the cultural and tourist potential as well as the students of this city.
Mane discussed with the students the opportunities they have through the B4Students program, supported by the Mane Foundation for the education of young people and the development of their potential.
“Among you here, I am convinced that there are some future entrepreneurs with extraordinary potential,” Samir Mane told the students. “You must be brave, work hard for your dreams, and you will have me and the BALFIN Group to support your ideas so that together we can create the conditions for the future that we all want here in our country.”
Asked about the BALFIN Group’s investments in Europe, the US and Canada, Mane told the students about the mission of a corporation with international standards and strong local expertise.
This meeting of the President of the BALFIN Group at the University of Durrës comes after several meetings at the invitation of the students at the University of Tirana, the University of Vlora, the University of Korça, TBU, the University of Epoka, UET, the University of Prishtina, UBT, meetings focused on the future of entrepreneurship and the potential of young people for a positive economic perspective.
